Question:
What were the highlights of your work with Opera Box?

"The enthusiasm of the children and seeing them participate in a production"
"Watching the rehearsals in the theatre … seeing the children really involved in their 'bit'"

Other comments received following recent education projects:

'Opera Box introduced an imaginative way for our group to get to grips with the problems (and fun) of writing a libretto and music. The whole group unanimously praised both the content and methods of our colleagues from Opera Box. I hope that Opera Box will do more in education. They have a talent for it.'
C J Lowe C.B.E. Prince William School, Oundle

'The experience they (the pupils) gained in the short time you were with us will most certainly live with them for a very, very long time. Your dedication, professionalism and communicative skill have definitely left their mark here at Aylestone.'
Stephen Tommey, Aylestone School, Hereford.

'The children's experience encompassed not only music and drama, but a full range of social and developmental circumstances. With high expectations of the children's ability to participate, high quality learning took place.'
J Rowe, De Beauvoire Primary School, Hackney

'A great success! THANK-YOU for the Opera Box workshop at Orwell Park. The children had a wonderful time - a lot of ground was covered, and lessons learnt, and fun for all.'
Andrew Auster, Orwell Park School, Nr Ipswich.

'The feedback from the staff and members who took part was 100% positive, and it would seem that everyone benefited from the experience. The staff who took part were very enthusiastic and felt they could further some ideas during their singing sessions.'
Sue Waldron, Oakley Grange Day Centre, Corby
